Other solar archives
Several other collections of 35-mm rolls, corresponding to solar observations at radio and optical wavelengths, are archived by the Observatory of Paris in Meudon, under the responsability of LESIA.
In the frame of the decametric digitization project, we digitized a few test rolls for four different datasets, presented below, and available online.
* Solar radio observations in Nançay :
– Radio Multichannel Spectrograph of Nançay : 758 35-mm rolls between 1978 and 1991, over the spectral range 110-470 MHz (Dumas et al., 1982).
– Nançay RadioHeliograph (NRH) : solar interferometer operating since 1956, which acquires daily images within 150-450 MHz (Kerdraon et Delouis, 1997).
* Solar visible observations in Meudon and St-Michel de l’Observatoire :
– Meudon Heliograph : 1966 35-mm rolls acquired between 28 May 1956 and 29 Oct. 1997.
– Heliograph of the Haute Provence Observatory : 1195 35-mm rolls acquired between 30 Apr. 1958 and 1 Feb. 1995.
