Refurbishment
The project of digitizing the decametric data recorded on 35-mm films rose from from the inventory of the decametric archives (Lamy et al., 2017; Cecconi et al., 2018).
The refurbishment of the data archive was organized along several steps detailed in this section :
– Definition of technical requirements and selection of a specialized digitization company
– Test and scientific validation of the digitized data
– Final archiving of the digitized films
– Digitization of observation logs stored on paper sheets
– Digitization of published catalogs of Jovian radio emissions
